I am enjoying Jesus speaking to my heart this morning. He is revealing some plague spots where I am not like Him, where I am unloving; He is giving me the gift of repentance; the joy of His forgiveness; and the assurance that He will help me in this area in the future.
Jesus is like, “I want to come closer to you. And when I do My light is going to shine brighter on unChristlike areas in your heart. But don’t be afraid,” he says, as I ashamedly dare to peer into His gentle face, full of love, “I did not draw closer to condemn you; I drew closer to heal you, cleanse you, and make you more free in Me; and to ultimately bring you more joy, so your tears of shame will turn into tears of happiness.”
Jesus! You are so beautiful and lovely! He does this process so we can enjoy being closer to Him, to come more into His presence. It’s a practice here, so we can learn to live with Him forever there.
